Bach Flower Essences
This range of remedies was developed by Dr Edward Bach, a medical practitioner whose interest in homeopathy and his natural gift as a healer, led him to seek purer alternatives to the traditional homeopathic medicines that are based on treating disease with the products of that disease, often described as 'treating like with like'. The philosophy behind his system is one of treating the mental and emotional states of the individual. When these states are unblocked, the physical symptoms that manifest as a result of the emotions are healed. As a Bach Flower practitioner, I am able to advise, and make up a remedy dosage bottle for you - for your specific emotional state. This treatment can also be used when treating with other complementary therapies, and is very useful for the treatment of children and adults as well as animals, as there are no known adverse effects.
Crystal and Colour Therapy
Throughout history, crystals and gems have been used for therapeutic purposes. As with plants and food, colours and gems or crystals each have their own energy vibration unique to its type, and this can be utilized to balance energy. Crystals and colours can be used in various ways. As a therapist, crystals may be placed on or around the body or along the chakras. Used correctly, crystals and colours can heal any condition of body, mind or spirit, and can be safely combined with both orthodox medicine and complementary therapies such as Reiki.
COLOUR THERAPY: Evidence of the use of colour as a form of holistic therapy has been found in ancient texts from India, China and Egypt. The principles of the practise are that colour is formed from light of varying wavelengths, and as such, it is a form of energy that affects living cells. Colour therapy does not, however, directly treat a physical condition, but instead, treats the energy block or imbalance that manifests as a physical disease. I can also analyse your personal colour preferences, as these are thought to reveal imbalance in certain areas, making space for recommending ways that you can incorporate these colours in your life to restore balance. Colour therapy may be used in combination with other healing modalities.
Mandala Art Therapy
Stress is now considered the foremost contributor to our modern chronic maladies. Medical research by well-known clinicians has shown that stress is a major factor in causing heart disease, cancer, and a myriad of chronic and acute diseases of today's world. Physical and mental stress accumulate. This can lead to fatigue, a drop in performance level, and a feeling of anxiety. If not checked, stress creates more serious problems and disease occurs. Mental and physical dis-ease or well-being can be fundamentally improved by acquiring a few simple tension-lowering techniques.

These cosmic diagrams of the universe serve as graphic symbols of our subconscious minds. Creating beautiful mandalas can help to stabilise, integrate, and re-order our inner lives. Oriental Acupressure and Meridian Healing
Oriental Acupressure and Meridian Healing: In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) the meridians are invisible energy channels that run in parallel with the physical anatomical system, but vibrate at a higher rate. Western Science, as well as ancient Chinese and Indian scientific systems, suggests that energy vibrating at a higher rate has an effect on matter vibrating at a lower rate. We can deduce from this that if the meridians are adversely affected then the physical body will manifest the symptoms of ill health. The solution is to treat the energy body both by preventing imbalance and by rebalancing it. Meridians are part of our 'energetic' circulatory system. Meridian therapy unblocks congestion in the energy channels (meridians) to promote blood circulation in areas where energy has become stagnated.
Reiki and Aura Healing
Reiki: The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "Life Force Energy". This amazing healing technique is based on channelling energy by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the your body and restore physical and emotional well-being.
Yoga, Reiki & Meditation go hand in hand. Whilst yoga focuses on the body and mind, Reiki is about the subtle energies and our chakras (the energy gates of our aura). I incorporate energy healing in some yoga classes so that you can experience both mind and body rejuvenation. I believe that a healthy body and healthy mind are both as equally imperative to achieve happiness. We start by honouring the breath, setting an intention, and then move onto our intuitive healing. Most commonly, Reiki is offered through light, non-invasive touch. My hands will either hover your body, or gently be placed along your body in a series of locations from head to toe. The placement of my hands will never be intrusive or inappropriate, and there generally won't be any pressure - making it suitable for clients who have any injuries, scars or wounds nor should there be any pressure. Additional placements on the limbs can be done as needed (for example, if there is an injury or surgical scar), and some practitioners routinely do so.
Ritual Manifestations & Space Cleansing

You might have a cup of tea or coffee every morning when you wake. This is your ritual for marking the beginning of the day. You might pray every night before you go to sleep as a way of drawing a line under the day. Every major religon is built around a variety of rituals, the three common to all being the rituals of birth, marriage and death. Ritual, whether mundane or spiritual, gives structure to our lives.All these simple rituals can soften the heart. Through these rituals, clients can express a clear intention (called a sankalpa in sanskrit) for freedom by sensing the body and focusing the mind. It can mean something done routinely, but which has some special significance for the person who is doing it, or it can be a ceremony only experienced at certain times in life. Either way, ritual is connected with the quality of marking a time or event.
Space Cleansing is a way in which we can energetically cleanse and revitalise our homes, and other spaces around us. It clears negative energies and uncomfortable feelings and purifies to enhance positive energy to a room or building. Space Cleansing can be achieved in many ways. All of these ways share the same intent - that any trauma experienced in that space be gently released in an harmless and healthy way. Homes and spaces can often take on negative consequences of place memory. The energy of previous occupants as well may be lingering, and you may have even experienced instances when you moved into a space and just felt like someone else was there, or the space just didn’t feel right. Mental and emotional energy can be held in a place for a very long time, touching all those who enter the space, potentially altering their mood.

The word 'heal' comes from the Anglo Saxon word meaning 'health' and 'holy'. In modern times, it seems that the western world has lost the connection between these two words, just as it has lost the connection to 'health' and 'wholeness'. In Western Medicine, the focus is primarily placed on the physical body, and so treatment focuses on the physical body. Doctors in the West, believe that although having a healthy attitude during treatment can help a patient's recovery, they do not necessarily believe that it is an integral part of the healing process. With Body, Mind, and Spirit disconnected, there can be no complete healing.
A soul that is sick, will manifest its dis-ease into physical symptoms. Holistic therapies move toward the origins of the dis-ease and try to treat the origins without the use of conventional medicine.
